UK Investment House Names Ex-Government Minister, Military Chief To Board

A UK-based specialist investment house has named two senior figures from the worlds of politics and the armed forces to its board.

Cyrus Investment Management, a UK specialist investment house, has appointed a former UK government minister and a retired top-ranking army officer to its advisory board.

The appointees are Lord Peter Hain, formerly secretary of state for Wales, and General Sir Peter Wall, formerly chief of the general staff.

The firm’s Cyrus Precision Engineering EIS Fund 2 is open to investment and seeks to find undercapitalised and undervalued precision engineering businesses in Cyrus’s core markets that are suitable candidates for "growth investment". The fund is expected to shut for investment by the beginning of April this year.
