UK Investment Firm Launches New Commodities Fund

Armajaro Asset Management, a commodities investment firm based in London, said it intends to launch a fourth commodity hedge fund.

The Armajaro STS Commodities Fund is a systematic trend-following commodities fund which will invest in liquid, exchange traded commodity derivatives. It has a long-term trading horizon.

Trade signals originate from the Armajaro STS Commodities programme, a proprietary systematic programme developed by Will Griffin, portfolio manager for the new fund.

The firm’s commodity fund range also includes the Armajaro Commodities Fund, a diversified, discretionary commodities fund; the CC+ Fund, focused on coffee and cocoa; and the CZAR+ Fund, which invests in sugar. In addition, Armajaro also manages an emerging markets hedge fund.
