UK Investment Firm Expands Into Middle East, Asia

PDL International, the UK-based investment services firm, is expanding its distribution activity to the Middle East and Asia to tap both regions' strong high net worth and institutional client bases.

The products included in its expansion are UCITS-compliant alternative funds, traded endowment policies and a diversified portfolio of life settlement policies under its Cascade Portfolio brand, the firm said in a statement.

Keith Campbell Golding has been chosen to serve as chief representative for the Middle East and Asia, responsible for marketing and distributing the firm's product range to local clients. Golding has over 30 years of industry experience, spanning Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia.

"Recent research suggests total assets under management in the Middle East alone could reach $4 trillion. We are witnessing a growing appetite among investors for assets whose performance is not dictated by financial markets. Both regions represent a real growth opportunity for PDL," said Sven Kuhlbrodt, managing director of PDL International

PDL is the distribution arm of TIS Group and provides investment services to institutional and retail clients in over 50 countries.
