True Potential, the UK-based IFA support services provider, has appointed Miles Thurston as a business consultant. He joins from UK-based independent financial advisor 2plan Wealth Management and will be responsible for the recruitment of new clients.

“Miles has an enviable track record of success in our industry both at Positive Solutions and 2plan,” Earl Glasgow, a senior partner at True Potential, said.

“He is joining a True Potential team that has recruited 551 IFA firms, 370 of these in the last 12 months, showing that there is a strong trend towards and belief in the future of the IFA directly authorised model.”

Glasgow added that Thurston will focus on expanding the firm’s base in the south of the UK.
