UK IFA Network Gets Green Light To Acquire Wealth Manager

Openwork, the UK-based financial advisor network, has been given final regulatory approval to acquire Leeds-based 2plan Wealth Management.

2plan has some 200 advisors on its roster providing wealth management, retirement, investment and financial planning services to private clients and businesses. It was launched in 2007 by Chris Smallwood and Chris Davies.

In other recent developments, at the start of the month Openwork named Mary-Anne McIntyre as chief executive, promoting her from chief operating officer. Prior to joining Openwork, McIntyre worked at Fidelity International, where she was head of customer services and strategic alliances and is credited with developing the service proposition of Fidelity’s FundsNetwork.
