UK Firm Makes Double Fund Manager Promotion

Invesco Perpetual, the UK-based investment management firm,
has named William Lam and Tony Roberts as fund managers for the
Invesco Perpetual Pacific Fund and the Invesco Pacific Equity
Fund, with effect from 31 May.
Lam and Roberts will support head of Asian equities Stuart Parks,
who currently manages the fund. Parks has been with the firm for
nineteen years and has specialised in Asian equity markets since
1990.
Lam will oversee the Asian equity portion of the funds while
Roberts will manage the Japanese equity portion. Meanwhile, Parks
will control the asset allocation of the funds between Asia and
Japan.
The duo of appointments will not change the way in which the
funds are managed or invested, the firm said.
