UK Client Reporting Specialist Appoints Advisory Board

Kurtosys, a UK technology firm specialising in client reporting systems, has appointed an advisory board to provide its directors and executives with strategy and technology guidance, along with asset management expertise.

The formation of the advisory broad is intended to ensure that Kurtosys is at the forefront of product development and service provision, the firm said.

“Recent events in the asset management industry have suggested that it needs to significantly improve client reporting to investors. These improvements include swifter reporting, greater transparency and increased accountability from asset managers,” said Virginia Gambale, Kurtosys chairman.

Each market segment serviced by Kurtosys is represented on the advisory board, with its members bringing experience in asset management, fund administration, custody banking and private wealth management.

Joining the advisory board are: Margo Cook, executive vice president, director of investment services for Nuveen Investment; Ivar Eilertsen, chief executive and founding partner of Harbor Capital Technologies; Susan Paternoster, senior managing director and head of IT for New York Life Investments, and David York, co-founder, chief executive and managing director of Paul Capital Investments

Kurtosys provides an end-to-end client reporting service that automates data aggregation, and the calculation, generation and distribution of reports through a web application. From its offices in London and New York, Kurtosys serves clients in the UK, US, Switzerland, South Africa and Australia.
