UK Asset Manager Switches To SimCorp System

Marathon Asset Management, a UK asset manager with around $50 billion of equities under management, has moved onto a single investment management system, SimCorp Dimension, replacing a number of legacy platforms including HiPortfolio, Beauchamp and Salerio.

The firm said it adopted the system as it enabled it to consolidate several functions including trade processing, fund accounting and reporting across both its long-only and hedge fund portfolios.

SimCorp, founded in 1971, serves investment managers, asset managers, fund managers, fund administrators, pension funds, insurance funds, and wealth managers. It is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen.
