The firm has confirmed that a search for a replacement CEO will begin shortly.
UK-based asset manager J O
Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM), subsidiary of Pendal
Group, has confirmed that Ken Lambden, chief executive, will be
leaving the company. Lambden will be on “gardening leave” during
his six-month notice period.
With immediate effect, Emilio Gonzalez, Pendal Group CEO, will
serve as acting JOHCM CEO until a replacement has been found for
Lambden. Gonzalez will temporarily relocate to London from
Sydney, it said in a statement.
A search for the permanent JOHCM CEO will begin
shortly.
“We thank Ken for his hard work and commitment in leading the
JOHCM business and wish him every success in his future
endeavours,” said Gonzalez. “Importantly, there are no changes to
JOHCM’s investment teams, investment autonomy or any other aspect
of JOHCM’s successful investment-led model.”
