UK Asset Management House Bolsters Tech Capabilities With New Hire

The AIM-listed firm has carved out a new position in a bid to expand its technology offering.

UK asset manager Gresham House has appointed Andy Hampshire to the newly-created role of chief technology officer.

His role became effective in March 2017. He reports directly to chief executive Tony Dalwood.

Hampshire will develop and implement Gresham House’s technology strategy, including the creation of a co-investment platform.

Hampshire has ten years' experience in private equity and finance. Earlier in his career, he worked as an operating partner at LDC, a private equity specialist, and held various positions at Lloyds Banking Group.

Throughout his career, he has specialised in driving shareholder value in investee companies through the use of technology, data analytics and large change programmes.

“Andy has deep expertise in alternatives and the financial sector, coupled with a strong background in technology," said Dalwood. “I’m very pleased to welcome him to the team.”
