UK Advisor Firm Selects Wrap Platform

Swindon-based advisor firm Intrinsic Financial Services has selected independent wrap platform provider Investment Funds Direct Limited as its wrap technology provider.

IFDL, which is also marketed under the trading name Ascentric, will be the first open architecture wrap platform technology to be used by Intrinsic Financial Services. The firm is expected to conduct a pilot during 2010, followed by a full rollout at the start of 2011, it said in a press statement.

”IFDL’s ability to provide a consistent administrative and client process will allow us to deliver a high quality, platform enabled advisory service well into the future,” said George Higginson, group marketing director at Intrinsic.

Intrinsic Financial Services, which was established in 2005, today has over 1,650 advisers across the group, and provides its members with a choice of restricted advice through the original multi-tie offer, or independent advice through their whole of market proposition, all on the same platform and systems.
