WH Ireland, the UK-listed broking and private wealth management firm, has appointed Jonathan Clements and Nick Tulloch into its corporate broking division in London, adding to a number of hires by the firm in recent weeks.

Clements is an equity salesman and brings 25 years’ experience to the role, most recently at Canaccord Genuity and prior to that at Arbuthnot Securities and Lazards.

Tulloch is a corporate financier and has 18 years’ experience in the industry, most notably with Cazenove, Altium, Robert W. Baird and Arbuthnot. He is also a trained solicitor.

The corporate broking arm provides corporate finance, research, market making and fund raising capabilities to quoted small/mid-cap companies. In its private clients side, it has over £2.5 ($4.12 billion) of assets under management and administration and operates from 12 offices around the UK.

Earlier in March, WH Ireland announced it had appointed Dan Cowland as finance director in London. At the start of the month, it named Paul Smith and Hitesh Mistry as investment managers, based at its Birmingham office; both men are focusing on growing the office’s discretionary client base.
