The investment consulting and research company said the new addition comes in response to growing demand from the advisor community.

London-based Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research has appointed Mike Moore as client relationship manager.

Moore previously spent eight years at AXA Investment Managers, where he oversaw strategic partnerships across the North of England, Ireland and Scotland. He brings 27 years of industry experience.

In the newly-created role, he will be responsible for building advisor relationships and promoting the firm's services in the Midlands and North West England.

Recognising the increasing appetite amongst the advisor community for third party investment services, we see exciting opportunities to provide valuable support and form long term partnerships with advisor businesses both in this region and across the UK,” said Richard Romer-Lee, managing director of Square Mile.

The appointment follows that of Grant Mitchinson, who became the firm's client relationship manager for Scotland, Northern Ireland and North East England earlier this year.
