Lighthouse Group, the UK financial advisory business, has appointed Danyel Jordan as managing director of Lighthouse Advisory Services, with effect from 1 February.

Jordan, who is currently a group project director at the firm, will be taking over from Stephen Gazard, who is set to join Sesame Bankhall Group as distribution director.

Jordan joined Lighthouse in 2002, having previously been membership recruitment manager for BWA, the predecessor to LASER (the name by which the group abbreviates Lighthouse Advisory Services). He has also served as managing director of the Lighthouse subsidiary, City Trustees and as operations manager of Lighthouse’s Exeter office.

In August of last year, the chairman of Lighthouse Group, David Hickey, resigned amid the firm’s controversial decision to de-list from the London Stock Exchange, after having held the chairmanship for 10 years.
