UBS Wealth Management Loses UHNW Banker In London

UBS Wealth Management has confirmed that Campbell Gordon, a director specialising in private banking for ultra high net worth families, has left the firm.

Mr Gordon is believed to have worked for the Swiss banking giant for seven years as part of a four-strong team responsible for UBS’s relationships with European family offices. It is thought that he left UBS in order to launch a new multi-family office.

In other moves at the bank, UBS’s UK ultra high worth division was recently boosted by the return of James Peterson, a senior client advisor, as exclusively reported by WealthBriefing last month.

Mr Peterson joined UBS from MaxCap, a multi-family office where he was a partner. He previously worked in transaction products and sales, and as an advisor to key clients, for UBS Wealth Management before leaving the firm in 2008.

In his new position, Mr Peterson reports to Chris Houlding, who is head of key clients and UHNW.
