UBS Wealth Management Americas has appointed two senior executives to its Boulder and Newport Beach branches in California. 

Arthur Polner has joined as senior vice president for investments and senior portfolio manager for the Boulder office, reporting directly to Peter Ford, the branch manager. Polner joins from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney where he served as a financial planner. 

Also newly hired is Jesse Rodriguez as SVP for the Newport Beach branch, reporting to Ron Meraz,  manager of the branch. Rodriguez joins UBS from Merrill Lynch where he was a financial advisor. 

The appointments are hot on the heels of the hire of three wealth management professionals for UBS' office in Mexico. Jaime Preciado Lopez Hidalgo, Gabriel Gomez and Enrique Ignacio Morales Abiego join the firm as heads of the Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City areas, respectively. (See related story here.)
