UBS has appointed Caroline Kuhnert as its new head of ultra high net worth global emerging markets, with effect from 8 June.

Based in Zurich, Kuhnert will report to Paul Raphael, head of wealth management for global emerging markets, and Joe Stadler, global head of UHNW.

Kuhnert is currently head of Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey, within the firm’s global emerging markets segment. Previously, she headed up UBS’s international wealth management business in London, and has also held a number of leadership roles at UBS Investment Bank, Creditanstalt Austria and International Moscow Bank.

Among other recent appointments, last month UBS hired Tristan Gervais as a senior relationship manager for its global family office team.
