UBS Nabs Another Advisor From Morgan Stanley

UBS Wealth Management Americas has hired Henry Berkley as a financial advisor in New York from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, according to Reuters.

Berkley, who has over 30 years of industry experience, has joined UBS’s Madison Avenue office in Manhattan. He previously had annual revenue production of nearly $1 million and was based in Morgan Stanley’s New York Plaza office.

UBS had not responded to a request from Family Wealth Report to confirm the hire at the time of going to press.

According to the news service, Berkley worked as an advisor at Citigroup and joined Morgan Stanley following the merger of Citi’s Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley’s wealth unit in 2009.

In a similar move, last week UBS reinforced its broker network in Providence, RI, with the addition of advisors Jamie Hilton and Kara Museler from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
