UBS Wealth Management Americas has lured a team that managed $800 million in client assets at US Trust and opened its first wealth management office in the Carolinas.

The team, headed by C. Harvey Rice, will be located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Joining Rice from US Trust are Haley Hill, David Halvorsen, Jennifer Burkhardt-Blevins and Mark Grow.

"We are excited to establish a Private Wealth Management presence in the Carolinas with Harvey and his team," said Jason Chandler, head of Private Wealth Management at UBS, in an internal memo seen by Family Wealth Report.
