UBS Launches Exchange Traded Commodities

UBS has launched a range of commodity-linked exchange traded notes, designed to give a broader range of investors access to this asset class.

The UBS Exchange-Traded Commodities (ETCs) are linked to the UBS Bloomberg Constant Maturity Commodity Index (CMCI) and its family of sub-indices. The CMCI is a weighted basket of 26 commodities with a series of available investment maturities for each individual commodity.

The return of the ETC is directly linked to the performance of the relevant index, which is based on the performance of the underlying commodities.

The notes are tradable on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and the indices are available in sterling, dollar and euro denominations.
