UBS Hires New UHNW Europe Boss

UBS has appointed a new head of its European ultra high net worth business in the person of Eva Lindholm, who will join the Swiss giant on 1 May, WealthBriefing understands.

Lindholm previously spent 26 years at JP Morgan, where she held several executive positions in wealth and asset management. She was latterly in charge of the company's corporate banking group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

At UBS, Lindholm will initially share leadership of the UHNW business and the global family office group with the current head Philip Higson for a transitional period of six months. Higson will then stay on and work with the firm’s largest family office clients.

In her new role, Lindholm will be based in London and report to both Josef Stadler, global head of UHNW, and Jakob Stott, in charge of wealth management for Europe. Both Stadler and Stott have a background at JP Morgan.
