UBS Hires Credit Suisse Man For UHNW Business in Switzerland

The head of UBS’s ultra high net worth clients business in Switzerland has departed from this role, being replaced by a Credit Suisse man, WealthBriefing has learnt.

Alois Müller will leave his position as head of the UHNW business in Switzerland; however, he will remain at UBS as a senior banker and client sponsor, supporting the global UHNW business and remaining in the global ultra high net worth management committee. In his new role he will report to Joe Stadler.

As head of the Swiss ultra high net worth business, Mr Müller will be replaced on 1 February 2010 by August Hatecke. Mr Hatecke joins from Credit Suisse where he was head of private banking in St Moritz. He will report to Mr Stadler and Stefan Bodmer.
