UBS GAM Announces Changes To Senior Management In Australia, NZ

UBS Global Asset Management has named a new head for Australia and New Zealand amid changes among its executive ranks.
Bryce Doherty is taking over the lead role from Ben Heap, who is stepping down after three years with the firm to "pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity." Heap is noted for overseeing the acquisition and integration of ING Investment Management in Australia in 2011.
Doherty was previously the head of wholesale for Australasia and brings 20 years of experience to his new post. His old role will be assumed by Alistair Dunne, who was the national sales manager for Victoria and South Australia. Anne Flockart, head of institutional sales, has also joined the Australia board.
UBS Global Asset Management has around A$600 billion ($562 billion) in assets under management.
