UBS EMEA Wealth Head To Swap Zurich For Middle East

The bank said latest moves "underscore" its commitment to the Middle East region.
Christl Novakovic, who leads the UBS global wealth management
business for the EMEA region, will move to the Middle East from
Zurich later in the summer, this news service can confirm
today.
As part of efforts to support the Swiss bank’s Middle East
strategy, Niels Zilkens, head of wealth management in the Middle
East, will relocate to Doha later this summer, according to a
memo seen by WealthBriefing.
Novakovic will shortly announce details of how the GWM EMEA
organisation will evolve to support the next phase of growth, the
memo said.
“These moves underscore our commitment to the Middle East. They
will enable us to deepen client relationships, strengthen
connectivity, and capture future growth, while continuing to
deliver the full strength of UBS to our clients,” the memo said.
