UBS Appoints Market Team Head For Australian Wealth Business

The new appointee has been in the financial services sector for more than 30 years.
UBS has appointed former
JBWare senior figure Damian Robinson as market team head for its
wealth management business in Australia, effective 13 July.
Robinson will be based in Sydney and report to Andrew Bird, head
of global wealth management Australia, the banking group said in
an email.
With more than three decades’ financial services sector
experience, Robinson was head of advice for New South Wales
and Queensland at JBWare for the past five years, after running
its advice business in Melbourne for five years. Before this,
Robinson was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where he
managed its private wealth division in
Victoria; previously he served in senior client
advisory roles at Ord Minett and Deutsche Bank.
Robinson holds a bachelor of business (banking and finance),
is a master practitioner member with the Stockbrokers and
Investment Advisers Association (MSIAA) and a graduate of the
Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
