The new appointee has been in the financial services sector for more than 30 years.

UBS has appointed former JBWare senior figure Damian Robinson as market team head for its wealth management business in Australia, effective 13 July.

With more than three decades’ financial services sector experience, Robinson was head of advice for New South Wales and Queensland at JBWare for the past five years, after running its advice business in Melbourne for five years. Before this, Robinson was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where he managed its private wealth division in Victoria; previously he served in senior client advisory roles at Ord Minett and Deutsche Bank.

Robinson holds a bachelor of business (banking and finance), is a master practitioner member with the Stockbrokers and Investment Advisers Association (MSIAA) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
