Two Tax, Accountancy Firms Merge In New York

The full-service accounting, tax and advisor firms WeiserMazar and The Resnick Druckman Group, have merged serving high net worth individuals across several industries.

WeiserMazars, a New York-based accounting, tax and advisory services firm, has merged with The Resnick Druckman Group, a full-service accounting, tax and consulting firm serving high net worth individuals across several industries.

Resnick Druckman’s 33 employees, including seven partners and principals and three directors, will join WeiserMazars’ New York City and Woodbury, Long Island, offices.

“The addition of this experienced team positions our firm for further growth, especially in such sectors as consumer products, apparel, real estate, technology and health care,” said WeiserMazars’ managing partner, Douglas Phillips.

The Resnick Druckman Group represents high net worth individuals, businesses and their owners, across industries including real estate and construction, manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, family/closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations, among others. Its services include accounting and auditing, tax services, litigation support, business consulting and wealth management.

The firms will continue to cooperate on serving clients on the East Coast, with the teams already having integrated several months ago, according to a statement.

WeiserMazars has six US offices and a presence in Israel and the Cayman Islands.
