International consulting firm Morse has made two senior hires to its financial services consulting team with the appointments of Grant Cooper and Neil Fraser as consultants. Mr Fraser joins from Charles River Development and will be based in Morse’s Edinburgh office. He will report to partner Paul Miller, who heads the applications and technology practice which specialises in the investment industry. Mr Cooper joins from Citigroup’s corporate and investment banking group where he specialised in OTC derivatives services. Based in London, he will report to partner Paul Sutton, who heads the manufacturing practice which focuses on traditional and alternative institutional asset management. Dean Lumer, another partner, said: “These appointments reflect the continuing growth of Morse in the financial services sector. Grant is a derivatives specialist who will complement our existing team focused on this growing sector of the industry whilst the appointment of Neil to our Edinburgh practice signifies the increased demand for applications and technology consulting in the industry in Edinburgh.” Morse provides management and applications consulting across the value chain of the financial services/investment asset management industry. Their clients include asset managers, custodians, administrators, brokers and other service providers and technology vendors.
