Two New

AXA Investment Managers has launched the AXA World Funds Global Flex 50 and AXA World Funds Global Flex 100, targeting different investor risk appetites.

AXA WF Global Flex 50 is designed for risk-averse investors and will remain at least 50 per cent invested in "prudent assets" such as fixed income, while allocating remaining assets in equity and commodities for additional returns.

Global Flex 100, on the other hand, is aimed at return-seeking investors. Its exposure to equities and commodities can vary between 50 per cent and 100 per cent during down and up markets respectively, the firm said, with the remaining assets invested in fixed income.

The funds are managed by three portfolio managers and led by Christoph Metz, who the firm said has 16 years of experience managing multi-asset funds.

In other recent news, last week AXA IM appointed Hong Kong-based Qi Sun as emerging Asia economist.

AXA Investment Managers has €528 billion (about $681 billion) in assets under management, as at end-March.
