UniCredit-owned Pioneer Investments has made two senior additions to its UK institutional team: Ian Burton joins as head of UK consultant relations and Cecilia Wilson as client director.

In this newly-created role, Mr Burton will be responsible for further strengthening the relationships with investment consultants in the UK and develop the company’s growing institutional asset management business. Joining from Insight Investment Management, he will be based in London and will work closely with Chris Yiannakou, who has recently been made consultant relations director. Mr Burton will report to Roger Price-Haworth, head of institutional and wholesale business, UK.

Cecilia Wilson, who has joined as client director, will work closely with the institutional client servicing team to formulate a client servicing strategy for the UK and Ireland institutional clients. She will be based in London and report to Richard Banks, global head of institutional client services.
