The move comes a month after investment firm Hg acquired a majority stake in TrustQuay.
TrustQuay, a tech provider to the corporate services, trust and alternative fund administration sector, has appointed Heath Davies (pictured) as non-executive chairman. This is a newly-created role, a spokesperson told this news service when asked about the matter.
Davies, who will chair the board and work with Keith Hale and the management team, brings more than 25 years of senior software industry experience, in Software-as-a-Service and working within the private equity community. His roles have included being chairman of edays and previously CEO of Exclaimer, Clearswift, Alterian and Sword Group.
In October, Hg, the investment firm, became a majority investor in TrustQuay.
“Following Hg's investment in TrustQuay last month, it's great to have Heath join the team as non-executive chairman. His experience in software and SaaS is second to none, and with his private equity knowledge [he] is an excellent addition to the board, helping myself and the management team execute TrustQuay's vision to become the technology provider of choice, both globally and in every market in which we operate,” Keith Hale, group CEO of TrustQuay, said.
TrustQuay has 11 offices around the world, including Australia, Guernsey, Jersey, Luxembourg, Singapore and the UK.
