Towry, the UK-based wealth manager, has said that Conclusion Financial Planning will be joining its business.

Based near Kemnay, Conclusion Financial Planning is headed by John Pope and assisted by his son Guy Pope.

John Pope, with more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, was previously president of the Insurance Institute of Aberdeen, and chairman of the north of Scotland areas of the Life Insurance Association and the Personal Finance Society.

In other recent developments, earlier in the month Towry confirmed its plans to acquire the business assets and contracts of the AXA UK advisory business Bluefin Personal Consulting, for an undisclosed sum. The transferring business will comprise 19 wealth planners and 70 support staff.
