International lawyers Allen & Overy has strengthened its global private client practice with the appointment of London-based associate Jennifer Chambers to partnership, with effect from 1 May 2005. Ms Chambers has been an associate in the private client department since 1994 and is head of the charity and not-for-profit group, as well as being the primary adviser to some of the practice's wealthiest and most high profile clients. "We remain one of the only international firms with a dedicated private client practice," said Guy Beringer, senior partner at Allen & Overy. "This very successful practice also uniquely allows Allen & Overy worldwide to draw on deep-rooted trusts, partnerships and not for profit expertise, all of which are areas of crucial importance to our corporate and finance practices."
