Tilney Bestinvest Appoints Financial Planning Director

London-headquartered Tilney Bestinvest has expanded its financial planning team further with the appointment of Leon Buckley.
The UK's Tilney Bestinvest has hired Leon Buckley as director of financial planning as part of the firm's ongoing push for expansion.
Buckley joins after five years with FF&P Wealth Planning, where he worked with high net worth clients. Before this, he worked as an advisor at Cavanagh Financial Management, working predominantly in the legal and media sectors.
In the newly-created role, Leon will be based in London and report to the firm's managing director of financial planning, Tim Stalkartt. He will be responsible for building relationships with partners of professional firms.
“Our business is predicated on building and developing deep, long term relationships with our clients to help them meet their goals and we are committed to recruiting top-quality financial planners in order to meet this objective,” said Stalkartt.
Tilney Bestinvest has been busy making new additions to its team. It recently appointed Martin King as managing director for investment management and Cathy Geary as associate director, financial planning. Earlier this week, its subsidiary Tilney for Intermediaries welcomed Mark Coles as director of financial intermediaries.
The investment and financial planning group looks after more than £9 billion ($14 billion) in assets.
