Three New Appointments At Vontobel Equity Sales Unit
The
Vontobel Group has added three new members to its equity
sales unit.
Walter Bamert, who will serve clients in German-speaking
Switzerland, will join the Swiss private bank on 1 June. Jorg
Hagenbuch will also join the firm in June, and will be
responsible for Vontobel's institutional business in North
America. Lastly, Mario Montagnani will join the team serving
clients in French-speaking Europe on 2 August.
Bamert and Montagnani join Vontobel from Neue Zürcher Bank, while
Hagenbuch previously worked for Macquarie Group.
In other developments, Vontobel recently named Axel Schwarzer, a
former Deutsche Bank senior manager, as the new head of its asset
management division, effective from next month.
