Houston, TX-based US Capital Advisors has taken on Clifford McTee as a managing director and Austin, TX, market manager.

At US Capital, McTee is responsible for the expansion and management of the firm’s wealth management business in the Austin market. He was previously a senior vice president overseeing 13 wealth management offices in central and west Texas at Wells Fargo Advisors

Overall, McTee has 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career in Corpus Christi, TX, with Merrill Lynch, subsequently joining Prudential Securities in 1991.

Having worked at Wells Fargo Advisors for 21 years, McTee transferred to Austin in 1994, and then to Dallas, where he ran the Southwest region for five years covering four states and 550 financial advisors across 28 offices. He transferred back to Austin ten years ago.

US Capital provides advisory services and products to high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional clients. It offers securities through USCA Securities and advice through USCA RIA. It was set up in 2010.
