Temenos Signs Up More Than 25 Banks Worldwide To Risk Management Product

Temenos, the banking software house, announced today that more than 25 banks around the world have signed up to use its Insight Risk Intelligence system, designed to enable firms to manage market risks and comply with tougher new bank capital rules.

Among the banks putting the system to use is the Asia-based Techcombank, a private commercial bank in Vietnam, highlighting how banks in such fast-growing emerging market economies are using such tools. Meanwhile, another bank client is Silkbank, based in Pakistan. Other bank clients include USB Bank in Cyprus, CAL Bank in Ghana, Military Bank in Vietnam and Banco Fichosa in Honduras.

“Recent Temenos research among 190 banking executives revealed that regulatory reporting is the top risk related priority for banks globally. The second risk priority particularly for tier 1 and 2 retail banks is to implement an enterprise-wide risk

management solution,” Shawn Doumy, product director, Insight Risk Intelligence at Temenos, said.
