Tech firm TerraNua hires an ex-CheckFree executive

Fidelity-own software maker sees increasing demand for compliance support. TerraNua has put former CheckFree executive Anthony D'Agostaro in charge of software implementation and account management in the U.S. for its MyComplianceOffice, a software suite that helps wealth-management firms manage compliance programs.

"Anthony's extensive consulting and management experience within the wealth-management sector, in conjunction with his expertise in relationship management, will support the rapid growth of MyComplianceOffice," says TerraNua's CEO Brian Fahey.

D'Agostaro was a senior relationship manager at CheckFree's Investment Services unit. He began his career at New York-based Bankers Trust (now part of Deutsche Bank).

Brookfield, Wisc.-based Fiserv bought Norcross, Ga.-based CheckFree last year.

At TerraNua, D'Agostaro will handle ongoing account management for MyComplianceOffice, which is designed for RIAs, broker dealers and hedge funds.

Dublin-based TerraNua is the professional-services arm of Boston-based Fidelity. It has offices in New York and London. -FWR
