Syndicate Asset Management Adds To Non-Exec Team

Syndicate Asset Management, the UK-listed investment management and wealth advisory group with about £5.8 billion (around $8.72 billion) under management, said today it has appointed Ranil Perera as a non-executive director, starting from 31 March.

Perera is a risk and regulatory compliance consultant with more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, working with Barclays Bank, Citibank, Price Waterhouse and Touche Ross. His experience covers marketing, product management, risk management and settlement.

He spent seven years at the Financial Services Authority, the UK financial regulator, where he worked in supervision and then in policy and also spent six years as a member of the disciplinary appeals committee of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
