Swiss Private Bank in Schaffhausen Tie-Up

St Gallen-based Wegelin & Co has announced a partnership with Ersparniskasse Schaffhausen for the Swiss private bank to expand its customer base, according to a statement.

The arrangement will give Schaffhausen’s customers with over SFr100,000, access to investment management from Wegelin, which claims to be Switzerland’s oldest bank.

The Schaffhausen institution was founded in 1817 and is the oldest in the city. It has 25 employees.
