Swiss Investment House Adds To Equities Team In Geneva

This publication brings more news of appointments and moves in the wealth management sector.

Switzerland-based institutional asset manager Unigestion has hired David Latto as senior vice president, portfolio manager, for its equities branch. The appointment comes as the company expands its expertise in dynamic equity risk budgeting, according to managing director Alexei Jourovski.

Based out of Geneva, Latto will work on the equity investment and research committee in addition to managing equity strategy portfolios.

Latto comes from UBS, where he was an equity derivatives structurer. He has also worked at Nomura International as an equity exotics structurer, and the European Investment Bank specialising in structured rates origination.

This hire comes after the company expanded its cross asset solutions team in June, appointing two positions in Geneva and London. Unigestion has more than 270 investors, and provides clients with a targeted range of risk-managed investment solutions.
