Swiss Investment Boutique Rebrands

The Geneva-based asset management company is changing its name.

Argos Investment Managers is rebranding to Quaero Capital.

The company, which was founded in Geneva 10 years ago and also has offices in Zurich, Paris and London, said the rebranding is driven by its international expansion and a concern that its original name may lead to confusion with other businesses in the sector.

The fully employee owned company is headed up by chief executive Jean Keller, who joined founding partners Cristofer Gelli and Philip Best in 2011.

Quaero Capital offers 12 investment strategies, available through segregated mandates or through investment funds. It currently manages SFr 600 million ($609 million) with a staff of 27, including 17 investment professionals.
