Swiss Bank Moves To Bigger London Office

Mirabaud Group, one of the oldest Swiss private banking firms, has moved its London operations to Grosvenor Place from its previous location in St James Square, to accommodate growth in its UK business.

The relocation involved around 100 employees – the entirety of the private bank’s UK-based staff – and is now complete.

In London, Mirabaud operates through Mirabaud Pereire Holdings, which has a securities subsidiary, Mirabaud Securities, and an investment management subsidiary, Mirabaud Investment Management.

Mirabaud Securities has grown in recent times, boosted by the rise of natural resource company-listings on the London market, a spokesperson for the firm told WealthBriefing.

The firm wanted a bigger office and to have all its staff and divisions located on one floor, the spokesperson said.

In other recent news, the banking group has expanded its operations in Spain this year through the acquisition of a 25 per cent stake in research and brokerage firm Venture Finanzas, which now operates under the Mirabaud brand.
