Zurich-based Migros Bank has launched a private banking initiative, which is targeting the Swiss affluent, according to Le Temps. The launch, scheduled for 19 January, will correspond with a re-branding of the bank across Switzerland with a new logo. An advertising campaign is attempting to reposition Migros Bank, a cooperative bank, in the affluent marketplace, according to the report. Migros is targeting clients with at least SFr250,000 ($195,121) in liquid assets and will be offering a number of new services including discounted equity trading as well as access to numerous funds.
