Swiss, Irish Authorities Grant Licences To Eric Sturdza Asset Management

Eric Sturdza Asset Management said it focuses on “high conviction” portfolios and is expanding its range for sophisticated investors.
The Swiss financial regulator, FINMA, has granted an asset
management licence to Eric
Sturdza Asset Management. The firm also received a similar
licence from Ireland’s central bank.
Now that it is licenced, ESAM can take on the
investment manager role for E I Sturdza Funds plc. The status
came into effect on 2 April, the asset management firm said in a
statement yesterday.
ESAM said it focuses on “high conviction” portfolios and is
expanding its range for sophisticated investors.
The firm is led by Andreas Söderholm (chief executive), Eric
Vanraes (chief investment officer), and Jérôme Papailhau (chief
operating officer). It is part of the Eric Sturdza Group, with
partner offices in Luxembourg and Guernsey.
In the past decade, the asset manager has expanded its AI,
quantitative and fundamental investing capabilities and developed
its range of investment solutions for institutional and high net
worth clients; it has also developed a UCITS fund range.
