UK-based contract publishing group Spear Media is launching a quarterly magazine aimed at the super-rich in the UK and Europe. A trial issue of the Spear Wealth Management Survey was sent out as a Christmas gift to 2,000 of the UK’s wealthiest individuals with a complementary year’s subscription. Coutts and HSBC Private Bank backed the issue by advertising. The magazine subscription is by invitation only, accoridng to Spear Media. The magazine is edited by William Cash, also chief executive of Spear Media. The trial edition carried articles on a wide variety of topics including the best new global tax havens and the must-have billionaire fashion accessories. Mr Cash has recruited a team of heavyweight journalists as freelance contributors including some Finanical Times staffers and well-known New York journalist, Michael Gross.
