Suntera Global Names New Regional Crown Dependencies Head

The appointee, who is taking on a new role to drive growth in the Crown Dependencies, will retain his current position as managing director for the Isle of Man.

Suntera Global, a multi-jurisdictional provider of fund, corporate and private wealth services, yesterday appointed Mark Reynolds (pictured) as the regional head of Crown Dependencies in a newly-created role aimed at supporting growth across Jersey, Guernsey, and Isle of Man.

Creating this new leadership role follows the completion of the majority equity investment in Suntera by Valeas Capital Partners earlier this year, paving the way for a new era of investment and growth, the firm said in a statement.

Reynolds’ remit is to future-proof the business, enhance client service and ensure a consistent approach across Suntera’s multidisciplinary proposition for fund, corporate and private clients in the group’s key jurisdictions of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. He will also continue in his current position as managing director for the Isle of Man.

Reynolds, who brings industry, leadership and commercial experience, had previously been the chief operating officer since 2021, providing management support to many of the firm’s jurisdictional leads, supporting cultural development, client service and operational consistency. Over a career spanning more than 20 years, he has worked across corporate services, private wealth, funds and digital sectors, with expertise in driving client service excellence and developing successful team culture.

“Mark’s appointment as regional head of Crown Dependencies is a critical strategic move for us, reflecting the importance of our operations in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man as we continue to pursue an ambitious global growth trajectory,” David Hudson, group chief executive officer at Suntera Global, said.

“The Crown Dependencies play a significant role in our future group-wide growth plans, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our regional island leads to ensure they are supported and that we continue to deliver the cutting-edge solutions and high standards with which Suntera is synonymous,” Reynolds added.

Suntera employs over 500 specialists supporting a global client base from offices in the Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Luxembourg, Singapore, the UK and the US.
