SunGard Rolls Out Mobile Financial Planning Service

SunGard, the US-headquartered financial services technology business, has rolled out a Mobile Meeting for Financial Planning service, hosted on tablet and other devices such as iPads.

The service integrates with the firm’s WealthStation Financial Planning offering. It can be used with any system that supplies the required financial planning information, the company said in a statement.

The capabilities offered include full access to relationship details, demographics, beneficiaries and other client relationship data; net worth, financial planning, asset allocation, goal tracking, key results, MyRetirement and other planning calculators; secure document access and a complete record of every client meeting.

“SunGard’s Mobile Meeting is helping to improve the way advisors interact with their clients by taking sophisticated financial planning concepts and presenting them in an understandable, meaningful way,” Nate Call, vice president of product management within SunGard’s wealth and retirement administration business, said in a statement.

Last year, SunGard launched Mobile Meeting for Portfolio Management, which works with the firm’s Investor’sView service to demonstrate holdings, balances, held-away accounts, asset allocations and portfolio modeling, as well as to access secure documents.
