SunGard Opens Office In Jakarta

SunGard, the US-based IT software provider, has opened an office in Jakarta to strengthen its Southeast Asia operations, according to theasset.com.

The company, which provides IT solutions to the global financial services industry, is expanding its regional presence.  SunGard is looking to tap the growing demand for IT solutions and better risk management in Indonesia as the country’s economy swells.

SunGard offers solutions to front, middle and back offices across asset management, asset servicing, banking, insurance, brokerage, trading, wealth management and corporate liquidity.

Earlier in the year the firm launched a new global solution centre in Pune, India. It also announced that it will provide cross-border order routing and trading through the SunGard Global Network and Valdi trading suite for four of Seven Asean exchanges.
