SunGard has completed the integration of its MarketMap global market data product and its WealthStation wealth management and Valdi trading systems, the US financial services software heavyweight has announced.

The integration means that SunGard’s customers can navigate MarketMap market data content within their respective applications.

The development comes as financial institutions are looking for more integrated, single-vendor services to boost efficiency and cut costs.

In a report earlier this year by the Celent consultancy, it was noted that market data providers are addressing a wealth management requirement by providing just one source of data all in one place.
