ZEDRA appointed Aoife Habben as chief people officer. Habben has more than two decades of experience in dynamic, high-growth environments, gained in senior HR leadership roles at Amazon, GE, and most recently at a private equity-backed fintech firm.
Schroders appointed Dan Morris as head of investment to drive public markets growth. Morris, who has worked at Schroders before, reports to Johanna Kyrklund, group chief investment officer. Most recently he was chief investment officer, Systematic Investments, at Allspring Global Investments.
London-based Tyndall Investment Management appointed Oliver Pile as investment director within its private client practice. Previously he worked at Ruffer LLP as a director in the private wealth division managing portfolios on behalf of private clients, charities, trusts and family offices.
NS Partners appointed Alvaro López-Aranda Robles as country manager for Spain to head NS Partners (Europe)’s Spanish branch. He was most recently senior ultra-high net worth individual strategy consultant at OpenWealth, part of the CaixaBank Group. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Barclays Wealth.
Liechtensteinische Landesbank, also known as LLB Group, appointed one of its senior figures, Markus Schifferle as the new group chief financial officer and group executive board member. Schifferle took the helm following the former group CFO, Christoph Reich, becoming group CEO. With more than 25 years’ experience, Schifferle has served in senior roles in the LLB Group since 2011, most recently, as head of group finance and risk.
Multrees Investor Services made two senior appointments. Martyn Johnson was appointed chief operating officer to oversee Multrees’ operations, technology, and transformation functions. Johnson joined Multrees in 2022, before which he worked within JP Morgan’s global fund services division as a senior strategist. Carole Lamond was appointed chief culture and communications officer. She served as Multrees’ chief people officer for the past five years.
The True Potential Group appointed Stuart Dodson as chief executive officer of True Potential Wealth Management. Based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, he took over from Jamie Sexton who had been acting as ad interim CEO following Steve Hutton's departure in July. Dodson has over 25 years’ experience in regulated financial services. Most recently he served as group managing director at Openwork.
Deutsche Bank, which set up dedicated Greek market coverage, hired Konstadinos Hatzinikolis as head of Private Bank Greece, based in Luxembourg. He was based in Geneva previously. Hatzinikolis reports to Sofia Sool, head of Private Bank Emerging Europe. Prior to Deutsche, he served in senior leadership roles at Banque Syz and HSBC Private Banking.
Rupert Pleasant resigned with immediate effect as chief executive of Guernsey Finance. The organisation investigated "recent events" that it took "extremely seriously." Pleasant, who had been in the position since March 2020, was replaced by acting CEO Barnaby Molloy.
The former CEO of NatWest Group, Dame Alison Rose, was appointed chair of FNZ (UK), a fintech firm with an end-to-end platform. The appointment added to Rose’s position as chair of international law firm Mishcon de Reya, and her senior partner role at Charterhouse Capital Partners. Rose has worked in the banking industry for three decades, holding positions such as deputy CEO and CEO of the commercial and private banking business of NatWest Group (parent of Coutts).
The Openwork Partnership appointed Mehdi Kadhim as chief executive officer of Omnis Investments, the partnership’s investment business. Kadhim took over from Robert Jeffree who chose to step down as CEO of Omnis to focus his expertise in delivering a new range of investment propositions planned for 2026. Previously Kadhim was group chief transformation officer at Royal London.
London-headquartered Corker Binning, a specialist criminal defence and regulatory litigation firm, hired Priya Dave from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as of counsel. Dave spent 10 years as a contentious regulation lawyer at the FCA.
Schroders Capital appointed Sophie Florentin-Siu as business development director UK. She reports to Ingo Heinen, global head of business development at Schroders Capital, and Philip Middleton, head of UK client group at Schroders. The role was newly created. Prior to joining Schroders Capital, Florentin-Siu led the business development efforts across PIMCO's top 30 UK institutional accounts.
Simplify Consulting, a UK-based financial services management consultancy, appointed Mark Andrews and Michael James as practice directors. With over 25 years of consulting experience spanning wealth, investment, insurance and pensions, he delivered programmes to institutions including L&G, Ageas, Medical Protection Society, Lloyds Banking Group, and LV. James has worked with major financial services organisations from FTSE 100 firms to fintechs and specialised providers.
UBS appointed former JP Morgan senior figure Borja Martinez-Laredo to join its wealth management Middle East team as the location head of the Swiss bank’s newly-established Abu Dhabi office. Martinez-Laredo, who reports to Niels Zilkens, head of UBS Wealth Management Middle East, has worked in the financial services sector for more than 15 years. At JP Morgan, Martinez-Laredo worked at the US bank’s global families group in New York.
Julius Baer changed the setup of its Swiss market management. Marc Blunier and Alain Krüger took over responsibility as co-heads on 1 January. After six years at Julius Baer, the market head of Switzerland, Patrick Prinz, decided to leave Julius Baer at the end of 2025 for personal reasons. Krüger took over local leadership of the bank in Geneva. Sacha Bodenehr, who held this post since January 2023, became head of business management in Geneva. He also acted as Krüger’s deputy locally.
With more than 30 years’ experience in Swiss and international financial institutions, Blunier worked for Julius Baer for six years. Krüger has more than 25 years’ experience in client business, serving ultra-high net worth individuals and family offices.
Alex Funk, the UK CIO of PortfolioMetrix, was appointed CEO, with founder Brandon Zietsman transitioning into the role of executive chair. He kept his investment responsibilities alongside the role of CEO. Funk made other changes to the global executive team: he named Sharné Sanders as chief commercial officer, Oscar Reitsma as chief operating officer and Natalie Horton as chief financial Officer.
Crestbridge Family Office Services appointed Ashley Hickman as client director.
UK-based Mattioli Woods said that Ian Mattioli became founding president, overseeing client relationships, strategic partnerships, and the continued development of the Mattioli Woods brand. Peter Mann, non-executive chairman of Mattioli Woods, was appointed as chief executive officer. Mann is an industry veteran with a wealth of experience in financial services leadership gained from senior roles at Old Mutual Wealth and Skandia UK.
Broadridge Financial Solutions, a technology firm listed on the Nasdaq, appointed Richard Street as international sales head, based in London. Street reports to Mike Sleightholme, president of Broadridge International. Prior to Broadridge, Street was chief revenue officer and business development head at a portfolio of specialist fintechs; global head of client coverage at RBC Investor and Treasury Services, and EMEA head of investor services sales at Citi.
London-based law firm Lawrence Stephens launched a multi-family office platform that provides professional services. The venture is led by John Russo, who has more than 15 years of experience advising and managing ultra-high net worth families and businesses.
Rathbones Group injected new talent into its leadership team to build on its integration with Investec Wealth & Investments UK (IW&I). Several senior executives left the firm: Sarah Owen-Jones retired as chief risk officer after more than 10 years with Rathbones; Andy Brodie, chief operating officer and Gaynor Gillespie, chief people officer left to pursue opportunities elsewhere.
Cassandra Williams joined Rathbones as chief risk officer designate and compliance officer. She was previously at HSBC, RBC Brewin Dolphin, Investec UK and the Financial Services Authority [now the FCA]. Gillian Van Maaren joined as chief people officer, following a career in global asset management, hedge funds, and wealth management.
Andy Brodie’s role was split. Mike Turner, who joined Rathbones as chief operating officer, responsible for operations and strategic projects, came from a consultancy, recently working with Rathbones.
Brad Novak, who joined as chief technology officer, has served in senior leadership roles at companies including Barclays and Credit Suisse. London-headquartered EQ Investors appointed Tom Wait as investment manager in its discretionary fund management division. Wait worked at RBC Brewin Dolphin for over nine years, where most recently he was an investment manager in the private client team.
VP Bank appointed one of its senior figures, Felix Brill, as the new head of international locations. He took over the helm from CEO Urs Monstein, who held the spot ad interim. Brill is responsible for client business in Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Singapore. Before he joined VP Bank, Brill was CEO and chief economist at Wellershoff & Partners.
Franklin Templeton appointed Deji Ijaiya-Harvey as business development manager, reporting to Harry Reeves, head of UK wholesale. Ijaiya-Harvey, who joined from Mirabaud Asset Management, spent the past six years in distribution roles. Noah Ahwe was promoted to business development manager.
Nordea Asset Management made two hires: Lucette Yvernault and Marton Huebler – both based in London – joined the firm’s Multi Assets unit. Yvernault joined as head of the Systematic Fixed Income team, while Huebler came on board as senior portfolio manager.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management appointed Radu Gheorghiu as senior corporate analyst to join the emerging market debt team, reporting to Anthony Kettle, senior portfolio manager, emerging markets.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Ed Morgan to join its corporate team, based in London. Morgan was previously a partner at Fladgate.
L&G appointed Ryan Lee as head of liquidity distribution. He is based in London, working with the liquidity investment team. Lee, who reports to Laura Brown, head of public markets distribution, joined from DWS Group.
Ocorian, a global asset servicer to both asset managers and asset owners and leader in private client, fund administration, capital markets, corporate, and regulatory and compliance services, appointed Tim Matthews as client director within its private client team in Guernsey.
Swiss private bank Bonhôte appointed Frédéric Dommert as chief operating officer; he took the reins from Olivier Vollenweider, who retired after a 34-year career. The bank also appointed Claude Suter as chief client officer and replaced Marc Brodard.
Dommert has served in senior roles at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise and Union Bancaire Privée, where he oversaw operational risk management and transformation, compliance and business development. In 2022, he was appointed chief data officer at Lombard Odier. Suter led Bonhôte’s independent asset management business for 12 years.
Rothschild & Co named Ben Gulliford as head of its Midlands wealth management operation, based in Birmingham. Gulliford was previously at Barclays Wealth.
Wealth manager Brooks Macdonald appointed Andy Robinson as chief people officer, reporting to Andrea Montague, chief executive officer. Robinson was previously at Alantra, where he was global head of human capital.
Adecco Group appointed Valentina Ficaio as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee. She succeeded Coram Williams who decided to step down, after being with the firm since 2020.
Guy Hudson, head of marketing and communications at Stonehage Fleming for more than a decade, stepped down, drawing the curtain on a 41-year-long wealth and asset management career.
Fortem Capital, an independent liquid alternatives investment house based in London, appointed Andrew Warwick as senior portfolio manager, reporting to chief investment officer, Kevin Gray. Warwick was formerly managing director and portfolio manager at BlackRock.
Arbuthnot Latham appointed Victoria Gevorkova as a fund research analyst within the bank’s investment management team. Gevorkova has a background in manager research across multi-asset, liquid alternatives, and hedge fund strategies.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Robert Lundie Smith as a partner in the intellectual property team in London. He joined from EIP, where he spent the last 13 years, most recently as head of UK patent disputes.
UK wealth manager Quilter appointed Sam Christopher as proposition director. Christopher joined the business in December 2025, reporting to Steve Gazard, Quilter’s chief distribution officer. She joined from from 7IM, where she served as head of platform, overseeing the platform service function, experience team and proposition development.
WealthOS, a London-headquartered wealthtech SaaS provider, appointed John Herlihy, who joined initially as an angel investor, as chairman at a “pivotal moment in the company’s trajectory.”
Ocorian, a global asset servicer to both asset managers and asset owners, recruited Mano Mathews to the newly-created role of global head of capability centres. He is based in Mauritius. Previously he was a managing director, Markets and Securities Services Operations at HSBC in India and worked at Citi and Northern Trust Corporation in roles across Hong Kong, India and London.
Brown Shipley, a Quintet Private Bank, appointed Melissa Buray as client advisor in its Birmingham office. She reports to Katrina Johnson, head of the North region. Prior to this, Buray worked at HSBC’s private banking division, where she was a relationship manager serving clients in the East Midlands.
EFG International put forward André Prüm as the new chair of the board of directors of its subsidiary EFG Bank (Luxembourg), with effect from 1 January. Prüm was scheduled to succeed Yves Maas, who stepped down as chair to take on the role of CEO of EFG Bank (Luxembourg), also on 1 January. Prüm is professor of law at the University of Luxembourg, where he holds the chair in financial and business law and was the founding dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance. He is qualified as a French law professor (Professeur agrégé des Facultés de droit de France).
Lena Lascari was due to retire from her operational role as CEO of EFG’s Luxembourg subsidiary, which she has held since 2019, and remains a board member.
Pascal Julliard was appointed as deputy CEO and head of Private Banking Luxembourg, reporting to the CEO of EFG Bank (Luxembourg).
Benchmark Capital, the UK financial planning solutions firm and part of Schroders, appointed Karan Sejpal as wealth management head – a newly-formed role. Sejpal has more than 20 years' experience within the wealth management industry gained in roles at Credit Suisse, Barclays and UBS. Sejpal joined from Cazenove Capital (part of the Schroders Group) where he led the discretionary fund management team, entrepreneurs team and regional offices.
Guernsey-based Belasko, an independent of provider of funds, corporate services and private wealth, appointed Mark Law as an independent non-executive director to join the board.
Law has more than 25 years of global financial services and commercial leadership experience, including senior roles at Deutsche Bank across Europe and Asia, and chief commercial officer at Sanne.
Charles Russell Speechlys appointed Vadim Romanoff to join the firm’s corporate tax and incentives team, based in London. Previously, Romanoff was tax director at Clifford Chance, and prior to that he was a senior tax associate at Baker McKenzie.
Ocorian recruited Arvinder Mudhar as its new chief digital
officer, based in London, reporting to Chantal Free, CEO.
Previously he was group chief information officer at private
equity-backed insurance company IQUW. Mudhar has more than 30
years’ experience in the financial services sector including
roles at Barclays Wealth, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and JP
Morgan.
North America
Angeles Wealth Management appointed Jonah Cave as chief growth
officer, based in Dallas. He joined from CH Investment Partners,
a multi-family office now part of Cresset Capital. Prior to CH
Investment Partners, Cave served in senior leadership roles in
the global equity divisions at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America
Merrill Lynch and UBS.
Reckoner Capital Management appointed Jon Lin as managing director of business development – a new role for the firm. Lin worked in alternative credit, private credit, structured credit, and real estate strategies for 18 years. Before this post, Lin served as vice president of institutional client advisory at Prospect Capital.
Cetera welcomed financial advisors Scott Thaxton and Greg Pennini after a longtime affiliation with LPL. The established ensemble practice carries out its business as CarrThaxton Financial Group.
Addepar appointed Peter O’Brien as chief revenue officer and Janeen France as the company’s first chief client officer. France is based in Ireland; O’Brien joined Addepar in New York in 2014.
Osaic said that True Wealth Advisors, formerly with LPL Financial, had joined it. The Englewood, Colorado–based firm oversees more than $705 million in client assets. True Wealth is led by Mason Samuels, and a five-advisor group including Alex Goldstein, Lloyd Sprague, Sam Grizzle and Ryan Nuu; they are supported by Sami Merrick, Jake Rolin and Ruth Leyerle.
Mesirow, a financial services group, appointed Nitay Laor to join its wealth management business as director, strategic growth and acquisitions. The role is a new one for the firm. Nitay served as vice president at Mesirow Investment Banking.
London-headquartered bfinance, an investment consultancy, appointed Donn Cox as its first head of North America. Cox – an industry veteran best known for founding LP Capital Advisors and his subsequent positions within Pavilion Alternatives Group and Mercer – heads a team of consultants in the US and Canada based in offices in Chicago, Toronto and Montreal. He is based in Chicago.
Sapient Capital appointed Joshua Mandelbaum as a partner and advisor in its New York office. Mandelbaum has 17 years of experience from JP Morgan Private Bank, where he began his career after graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2008.
Savant Wealth Management, an RIA, appointed Matt Lane as its chief people officer. Lane has more than 25 years of business-focused human capital leadership.
Feruz Erizku joined RBC Global Asset Management this month in the newly-created role as director, US strategy. Based in Boston, she reports to Alison LaRocque, managing director, RBC GAM strategy. Erizku has more than 12 years of experience in management consulting and finance. She was previously an associate partner at Bain & Company, collaborating with executive teams at major global companies on strategy, operating model, organizational design, and social impact.
Cresset appointed Albert Leshinsky as managing director, head of corporate development. Leshinsky is based in New York. Prior to his new role, Leshinsky worked as vice president senior MD, advisor recruiting at Clearstead, and before that, he was head of JP MA Advisor Recruiting for JP Morgan.
Former UBS Financial Services advisors Denis Cleary and Greg Devine, who between them looked after about $6 billion in client money, formed their own firm. Called 71 West Capital Partners, the business is a registered investment advisor with offices in Boston and Los Angeles. Cleary started his career as a corporate attorney before serving as executive director of one of the largest private operating foundations on the East Coast. At Goldman Sachs, where he was a managing director. Devine began his wealth management career in 2004, following a career in Silicon Valley's technology sector. In 2016, he moved to the greater Los Angeles area. Joining Cleary and Devine at 71 West were team members Abigail Harris, Matthew Kirshner, Chris Carbone, William Corman, Spencer Danziger and Nolan Morr.
UBS appointed Ben Firestein as head of field leader development and head of national recruiting and retention, Global Wealth Management US. Prior to joining the Swiss firm, Firestein worked for more than 30 years at Morgan Stanley.
Cohen & Steers, the New York-listed investment firm specializing in real estate, commodities and other real assets, said Daniel Noonan, executive vice president and head of global wealth, was promoted to head of global distribution. Noonan joined the firm in 2024 to lead the firm's wealth management business. Before joining Cohen & Steers, Noonan was senior managing director and head of enterprise wealth and private capital at Nuveen.
Withers appointed senior counsel Frank Lord to grow its art and advisory practice in the US. Lord, who is based in New York, spent more than five years leading his own specialized art law practice. Sarina Taylor also joined the US Art and Advisory team from Milbank LLP. She is a former Christie's specialist in Asian 20th century and contemporary art.
Sapient Capital appointed David Larado, a former long-serving UBS senior figure, as a partner. Larado spent 19 years at UBS serving in leadership roles in the advisor recruiting and UHNW Americas businesses. Most recently, he was head of advisor recruiting and retention; he also put together UBS’s Aspiring Legacy FA (ALFA) Program.
RBC Wealth Management expanded into Louisiana with a new branch in New Orleans run by a five-person team. The Heller Stieffel & Noto Wealth Management team, which launched the new office, joined from UBS.

Calamos Wealth Management added two senior advisory figures: Gregory Whitehead and Tony Oommen. Whitehead and Oommen lead the firm's Northeast and Midwest practices, respectively.
Whitehead has more than 18 years’ financial services experience, most recently serving as director of wealth management for the Greater Metro Region at Charles Schwab. Oommen has more than 27 years of experience serving high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across wealth management models. Most recently, he served as a wealth management advisor for Fidelity Private Wealth Management.
Macquarie Asset Management appointed three senior figures to join its wealth business. The new appointees are Crista Demasi, head of the US strategic relationships group; Debra Probst, the global head of wealth channel marketing; and Danielle Hickey, director of platform development, private markets solutions.
Wilshire, an investment solutions and analytics platform, appointed former Cerity Partners chief growth officer Todd Cassler as chief revenue officer, a new role for the firm. Cassler has more than 20 years of experience in financial services.
RBC Wealth Management elevated Scott Skinner to Mountain South divisional director. Skinner previously served as the firm’s Texas South complex director.
RBC Global Asset Management hired Christopher Martin as institutional portfolio manager for the alternatives sector – a newly-created role. Based in Boston, he reports to Kevin Dockrell, MD and leader of RBC GAM US Institutional Portfolio Managers. Prior to this, Martin worked at Pathstone where he was a director in the firm’s investment management research group; he was at the wealth management group for nine years.
Carson Group said wealth advisor James Fetters joined the firm to launch his new independent practice, Blueprint Wealth Management. Based in Santa Monica, California, Fetters joined Carson Group from Northwestern Mutual.
Robertson Stephens Wealth Management brought in two new advisor teams. Joiners were Carol Nulman and Richard Lewis, who became managing directors and principals, opening a new office in Rhode Island. Leah Hokenson also joined as MD and principal in the New York office.
Aprio, a US business advisory and accounting firm, appointed Eric Flynn to join Aprio Wealth Management as chief wealth officer, a newly-formed role. Before this, Flynn was head of wealth management for Compound, based in Bozeman, Montana.
Lenox Advisors appointed Colleen Tinch as senior vice president and head of marketing, based in Chicago. Previosly, she worked at Mesirow, as managing director of strategic marketing and sales enablement for the firm’s global investment management business.
The Financial Planning Association® (FPA), a membership organization and trade association for Certified Financial Planner® professionals, said its board of directors had elected D Crystal Alford-Cooper, CFP®, as the 2026 FPA president-elect for a one-year term. Alford-Cooper is director of financial planning at Law & Associates Wealth Management and Planning in Glen Echo, Maryland.
The FPA also elected three new members to its board:
-- Maria Castillo Dominguez, CFP® – founder of Valoria Wealth Management in Miami, Florida.
-- Gregory Furer, CFP®, CRPC®, CPFA – CEO of Beratung Advisors in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
-- Otto L Rivera, CFP®, EA – He is an Orlando-based financial planner and investment advisor at White Lighthouse Investment Management.
Separately, Carl M Christie, CFP®, CFS®, was elected to a fourth year of board service.
Raymond James made a number of appointments:
Daniel Timberlake and Alexis “Lexi” Howard joined employee advisor channel. The advisors were previously with Wells Fargo, and based in Boise, Idaho.
The independent advisor channel welcomed financial advisors Gabor Nagy and Robert Kemper. They joined from Commonwealth Financial Network and based in Mendham, New Jersey, operating as Mendham Wealth Partners.
Advisors Kenneth Russell and William Sosebee, who joined the employee advisor channel, and joined from Wells Fargo, operate as Providence Wealth Management of Raymond James, based in Gardendale and Cullman, Alabama.
Financial advisor Gabriel Oxios joined its independent advisor channel. He was formerly at VALIC Financial Advisors, now Corebridge Financial. He is based in Coral Gables, Florida.
Financial advisors Jason Holland and Candice Holland joined the independent advisor channel, arriving from Truist Investment Services. Their Holland & Co Wealth Advisors business is in Melbourne, Florida.
Dupont Kirven joined the independent advisor channel in Greensboro, North Carolina. The advisor was previously at Edward Jones for 17 years.
The firm welcomed advisors in different US markets:
-- Haim Sander joined the employee advisor channel, arriving from Wells Fargo where he oversaw about $250 million in client assets. He operates as Sander Wealth Advisory of Raymond James, based in Fort Myers, Florida;
-- Garrett Coates, who joined the employee advisor channel, was formerly with JP Morgan. Coates is based in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
-- Vincent McPhail, formerly with Wells Fargo, joined the employee advisor channel in Spokane, Washington.
Financial advisors Hugo Porro and Manuel Porro joined the employee advisor channel, based in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Financial advisor David Morgan joined the independent advisor channel in Greensboro, North Carolina, operating as Morgan Wealth Partners.
Financial advisors Matt Kern and Brad Collins, who are based in
Charlotte, North Carolina, joined the independent advisor channel
of Raymond James, operating as Diamond Grove Wealth Management.

Asia-Pacific
Asia’s WRISE Group has appointed four senior executives: Darren
Ng (group chief financial officer); Jude Lin (deputy CEO, WRISE
Private Singapore); Pushkin Kapoor (deputy CEO for WRISE Private
Middle East); and Ken Wong (CEO of WRISE Prestige Hong Kong).
Before WRISE, Ng held leadership positions at banks including HSBC, Standard Chartered and OCBC. He was a founding C-suite executive for a global Web3 blockchain company and served as group CFO at a Nasdaq-listed technology company. Based in Singapore, Lin has more than 16 years’ experience in UHNW wealth management; he has worked at Bank of Singapore, UBS, and Citibank. Dubai-based Kapoor has held tenures at Credit Suisse, Societe Generale, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Manulife made two leadership appointments to accelerate its Global High-Net-Worth (GHNW) business: Bonnie Qiu became CEO, global high-net-worth and chief partnership distribution officer, Asia; Rishi Srivastava, chief agency officer, Asia, joined Manulife Asia’s senior leadership team. Qiu works alongside Jean Wong, who will be retiring in Q2 2026 as current CEO of GHNW after nearly three decades of service at Manulife. Both Qiu and Srivastava report to Steve Finch, president and CEO, Manulife Asia.
Former UBS and Credit Suisse top-level figure, Francesco De Ferranti joined Singapore-headquartered UOB to sit on its newly-formed wealth advisory panel. Most recently, De Ferranti was a senior advisor at UBS in Zurich, CEO for the EMEA region at Credit Suisse, and CEO for global wealth management at that bank.
Standard Chartered appointed one of its senior figures in Hong Kong, Muska Chiu, as team lead, working with clients such as ultra-high net worth individuals at the lender’s private bank. Chiu has more than 20 years of distinguished experience in investment and product advisory. Over the past two years, he led the UK-listed bank’s investment advisory team and helped drive growth in Greater China and North Asia.
The bank also appointed Peter Horng as its new head of investment advisory and product advisory, private banking, Greater China and North Asia. Horng has more than 25 years’ experience in wealth management at financial institutions, including his previous roles in Citibank, HSBC and UBS in New York and Hong Kong.
Howden, a global insurance intermediary group, appointed Alaric Lee as chief commercial officer, Asia, based in Singapore. Lee joined after 15 years with Marsh, where most recently he served as managing director and corporate and commercial leader for Marsh Asia.
HSBC appointed Ruby Ho as head of markets and securities services (MSS) for the ASEAN collection of Southeast Asian nations, based in Singapore. With almost 30 years’ experience in financial markets, Ho joined HSBC in 2011 and held various positions across different asset classes. Prior to her latest role, Ho was head of MSS in HSBC Taiwan.
UBS appointed Chong Seng Kwa as chairman of Singapore and South-east Asia. Based in Singapore, Kwa reports to Iqbal Khan, president of UBS Asia Pacific and the co-president of global wealth management at UBS. Kwa has several decades of leadership across public and private sectors, including chairmanships of major listed companies.
Leo Wealth, an international wealth firm with offices in the US and Asia, brought in former Indosuez Wealth Management CEO in Hong Kong, Olivier Livenais as global head of wealth. He is based in Hong Kong. Livenais was at Indosuez WM, part of the Crédit Agricole Group, for more than 17 years.
Ocorian appointed Ginny Goh as director, private clients, Singapore, reporting to Andrew Ho, regional head, private clients, APAC. Goh has more than 18 years’ experience in trust administration, private client services, and wealth planning across Singapore and the wider Asia region.
Indosuez Wealth Management in Singapore appointed Eddie Chng as managing director. Chng previously worked for more than three-and-a-half years at Bank of Singapore; prior to this, he was at LGT for almost a year. He remains located in Singapore.
Schroders appointed Chee Long Chong as head of institutional business, Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Chee Loong Chong has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services. Prior to this, he worked at Mercer Investment Solutions Singapore, where he was CEO, overseeing the firm’s wealth business in Singapore and its investment operations across Southeast Asia.
Roger Lau, head of pensions and retirement, Hong Kong, who was at the firm for more than 10 years, decided to leave Schroders to pursue a new opportunity. Matthew Pang, head of institutional business, Hong Kong, assumed expanded responsibilities to lead Schroders’ Pensions and Retirement Business for the market.
Matthews – formerly called Mathews Asia – said Tiffany Hsiao would be rejoining in mid-December. Joined by two of her former colleagues at Artisan Partners, Hsiao operates from Hong Kong. Hsiao originally joined Matthews in 2014 and departed in August 2020 to launch a China-focused private fund at Artisan Partners. Prior to her tenure at Matthews, Hsiao was a vice president at Goldman Sachs Investment Partners in Hong Kong and Tokyo.
ATFX, a global online trading services provider, appointed Line Ho Young Peteri as vice president for strategic partnerships and affiliates. Most recently, she served as senior manager, strategic partnerships and affiliation at Exinity, an online brokerage.
Amundi appointed Chloe Shea as the head of investment specialists, multi-asset and solutions, for Asia excluding Japan. Shea is based in Hong Kong and reports to Florian Neto, head of investment for Asia, and Dan Levy, head of solutions business development and investment specialists.
US-based investment manager Capital Group expanded its financial intermediaries (FIT) team in Asia, appointing Ser Kiat Lim in the newly-created role of director, financial intermediaries, for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Nomura said its international wealth management arm appointed Julia Wang – formerly of JP Morgan and HSBC – as its North Asia chief investment officer, a new position for Nomura. Wang has more than 10 years’ experience as global market strategist and economist for Greater China at JP Morgan and HSBC respectively.
Raffles Family Office appointed Caroline Langston in the newly-formed role of chief people officer. Langston served as RFO’s executive coach for over five years.
HSBC appointed Kevin Hu, head of international wealth and premier banking (IWPB) for Taiwan. Prior to this, Hu was at Cathay United Bank where he had served as senior executive vice president since 2022. Before that, Hu spent 26 years at Citibank Taiwan, most recently as retail banking head covering wealth management, insurance and mortgage products.
